Job Description


Our client in the Pharmaceutical industry is currently looking for a Brand Manager, in Johannesburg.

Responsibilities:

  • Bridging the gap between the customer and the brand by using data and insights from the customerxe2x80x99s unique perspective to excel.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to understand consumer behaviour and preferences.
  • Analyse market trends, competition, and customer feedback to refine brand positioning.
  • Develop consumer personas and gather insights for targeted marketing efforts.
  • Shape and articulate a clear and inspiring vision and mission for the brand.
  • Ensure that the brand's values align with the company's overall goals and values.
  • Translate brand elements into comprehensive marketing strategies.
  • Develop go-to-market plans that encompass product launches, promotions, and campaigns.
  • Lead and inspire a team of marketing professionals, fostering creativity and collaboration.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members working on brand initiatives.
  • Spearhead the creative development process to create compelling campaigns that drive action.
  • Craft messaging and visuals that resonate with the target audience.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance specifications.
  • Continuously measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
  • Assess return on investment (ROI) and make data-driven adjustments.
  • Market Monitoring and Competitive Analysis:
  • Stay updated on market trends and consumer preferences.
  • Conduct thorough competitor analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Marketing and Advertising Oversight:
  • Oversee the execution of marketing and advertising initiatives.
  • Ensure consistency and alignment with the brand's direction.
  • Product Distribution and Customer Feedback:
  • Monitor product distribution channels and optimize as needed.
  • Gather and analyse customer feedback to make product improvements.
  • Innovative Growth Strategies:
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to drive brand growth and market share.
  • Ensure all company stakeholders are aligned with the brand's direction, choices, and tactics.
Requirements:
  • 3-year Degree (Medical or Medically related/Sciences/Marketing)
  • 3 - 5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in marketing Over the Counter (OTC) and RX brands to Health Care Professionals.
  • Experience in new product launches is advantageous.
Remuneration:
  • Dependent on experience and qualification.
