Job Description


A leading consumer company is seeking a Brand Manager, to be responsible for developing and implementing marketing and brand strategies for food and wellness products and services. You will work closely with the senior management team across all functions to drive revenue growth and increase brand awareness.Brand and Product Strategy:

  • Assist with the execution of the approved brand plan, marketing/comms plan and ensure deliverables are met.
  • Conceptualise, develop and manage all consumer related marketing activities including above-the-line, through-the-line and below-the-line communications on a day to day basis.
  • Develop an understanding of the market through research and identify consumer drivers (economic, social, cultural).
  • Work collaboratively with the trade team to ensure marketing and sales initiatives are aligned. Develop brand promotional activities and guidelines.
  • Ensure execution of agreed brand, communication and promotions plans with regular review and analysis.
  • Schedule attendance at key events, promotions, conferences and exhibitions and implement campaigns at the events.
Innovation and product development:
  • Assist with the development of innovative growth strategies and product development, pricing and new launches that will allow brand to close gaps in the market and be leader in the industry.
  • Develop business cases for all new innovation with input from cross-functional teams and be marketing lead on innovation projects.
  • Work with innovation team to set up project timelines and deliverables with cross-functional team.
  • Adhere to project milestones and deadlines.
  • Ensure costs are managed within budget and resources allocated effectively.
Digital Activation strategy:
  • Successfully implement the approved digital strategy within the budget with input and approval from the senior team.
  • Launch website according to timeline and ensure frequent updates are made
  • Manage the process of updating new pack shots and brand landing age updates across all ecommerce channels
  • Enhance the online presence and raise the profile of the company and its products through effective and innovative digital communications.
  • Manage the company profiles on social media
Qualifications:
  • Degree (preferably Postgraduate) in Commerce or Marketing xe2x80x93 Essential
  • Short course in Digital Marketing xe2x80x93 Preferable
  • 5-8 years of FMCG marketing management experience at management level.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.

  • Project management skills
