Job Description


Our client is seeking a Brand Manager (Skincare) who is driven by creating new, innovative marketing ideas that disrupt the beauty world. This person will be responsible for leading the creation and execution of innovative, integrated and cost effective 360xc2xb0 marketing plans to drive sales, energize consumer engagement, and build brand awareness. You will serve as the key strategic lead, idea generator and main marketing contact to internal and external functional partners and key channels of distribution. You will lead the digital strategy.

Roles & Responsibilities: -

Brand Management

  • Overall responsibility for strategizing, planning and directing all marketing efforts;
  • Responsible for developing the annual marketing strategic business plan;
  • Develop brand strategy, drive portfolio strategy;
  • Assisting in the development of marketing strategies and campaigns to promote the brand and increase sales;
  • Develop short- and long-term plans and budgets for the marketing/communications/social media/public relations/trade programs and its activities, monitor progress, assure adherence and evaluate performance;
  • Stay abreast on global market trends, keep a close eye on competitorsxe2x80x99 strategy and activities and be quick to react with strong and relevant programs;
  • Conducting market research to identify consumer needs, preferences, and trends;
  • Coordinating with internal teams such as product development, sales, and design to ensure brand guidelines are followed across all marketing materials.
Develop Content Strategy and Roadmap
  • Partner with their team of creators to define a content strategy that will hit growth goals for brands;
  • Set up a growth roadmap to guide the brand towards success with a winning combination of content;
  • Increase productxe2x80x99s visibility via social media and advertisements with internal team & external agencies;
  • They want your authorship as they build and redefine social advertising.
  • Managing budgets for marketing campaigns and activities.
  • Participating in the development and execution of events and promotions to promote the brand.
Own Performance and Analytics
  • Lead digital strategy;
  • Dive deep into the numbers to understand what is working and what is not;
  • Analyse data, new trends and insights and generate ideas on how to translate into ideas for the brand;
  • Develop measurement tools, establish KPIxe2x80x99s and benchmarks for measuring impact of marketing efforts in order to determine campaign effectiveness;
  • Report monthly results and key learnings to leadership team and stakeholders;
  • Analysing sales data and marketing metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make data-driven decisions.
Spearhead Collaboration
  • Align closely with Product Development, Production/Operations, Finance and Sales departments to drive key product launches and marketing campaigns across the country;
  • Collaborate with Sales, Digital and Creative teams to develop synergy in campaigns and calendars, and ensuring differentiation between channels;
  • Ensure all stakeholders (including planning & inventory) have access to calendar, receives regular updates on additions or changes;
  • Coordinating with procurement department of materials and products necessary for the brand.
Embrace Innovation
  • Be curious. Raise new ideas, develop new strategies, pitch new products. There is a ton of white space in solving this problem.
  • Drive new product development w/ R&D department to ensure the competitiveness of the company.
Requirements:-
  • 2+ yearsxe2x80x99 experience in B2C marketing capacity, cosmetics industry is an advantage;
  • 2+ years in brand management capacity with FMCG, preferentially in skincare industry;
  • Proficiency in Shopify is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with digital marketing, planning and research
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Able to work independently, positive approach, self-motivate, results driven, and has a good work ethic;
  • Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, strong organizational and time management skills
