Job Description



Brand Manager (Clinglobal South Africa / Mauritius) Clinglobal, an Animal Health Contract Research Organization, plays a pivotal role in supporting our global operations across multiple countries. We are currently in search of a dynamic Brand Manager to join our expanding Clinglobal team. This role is ideally suited for a creative thinker with strong communication skills, capable of devising cutting-edge branding strategies in line with the latest trends and best practices.
Primary Job Purpose Utilize customer insights and trend analysis to formulate, execute, and monitor the Clinglobal group branding strategy.
Job Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage both new and ongoing marketing and advertising activities.
  • Assist in managing the marketing and branding budget for the Clinglobal group.
  • Ensure alignment across the organization regarding brand direction, decisions, and strategies.
    • Provide support to team members in implementing branding products (e.g., MS Teams Background / LinkedIn headers).
  • Collaborate with Clinglobal departments, partner companies, and their locations to create, manage, and administer branding and marketing materials.
    • Oversee the production and distribution of marketing materials, including coordination with printing partners.
      • Efficiently allocate resources across different sites and companies.
      • Maintain up-to-date and easily accessible marketing material libraries.
      • Manage relationships with printing service providers.
    • Supervise Brand Applications and other branding assets stored on shared drives, keeping folders current and providing guidance to teams on their proper use.
    • Assist the Human Resources department with branding for training and personnel onboarding materials, as well as related gear.
    • Offer support to Maintenance teams at various sites and offices for signage and branding needs.
  • Contribute to Business Development and marketing efforts by producing, distributing, and managing branding and marketing materials for customer meetings, industry & scientific events, trade shows, etc.
  • Manage online branding communication platforms, including the Clinglobal group websites and social media platforms (especially LinkedIn pages).
    • Coordinate the production of scientific and corporate posts, set schedules in collaboration with corporate communication consultants, and oversee content creation, including images and videos.
    • Compile and maintain posts, ensuring that pages are kept up to date.
    • Support HR in sharing job openings and #ClinCARES posts.
    • Manage paid advertising campaigns.
  • Play a crucial role in communicating the Clinglobal group's purpose, vision, and mission.
  • Translate brand elements into actionable go-to-market strategies.
  • Lead creative development to inspire the target audience to engage with Clinglobal or one of our partner companies.
  • Stay updated on market trends, conduct consumer market research, and monitor competitors' activities.
  • Aid in measuring and reporting the performance of marketing campaigns, evaluating ROI and KPIs.
  • Contribute to enhancing the reputation of the Clinglobal group and driving its mission forward.

Qualification and Experience Requirements
  • A degree in Marketing or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of graphic design and/or video production/editing experience (Adobe Suite).
  • Proven 3 years of working experience as a Brand Manager or Associate Brand Manager.
  • Background or experience in life sciences is considered an asset.
  • At least 5 years of administrative experience.
  • Proficiency in English, with proficiency in other business-relevant languages as a plus.

Specific Skills and Abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to formulate brand and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to management.
  • Experience in graphic design and/or video production/editing using the Adobe suite.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in written English, with proficiency in other business-relevant languages being an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills and a creative mindset.
  • Data-driven thinking and a knack for working with numbers.
  • Keeping current with the latest marketing trends and best practices.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Office 365.

This position is a hybrid role and is open for placement at our Clinglobal offices in either South Africa or Mauritius. (Candidates applying should already be based in South Africa or Mauritius)
