Our client, an automotive group that operates throughout Africa has an opportunity available for a Brand Manager to join their team. This position will be based in Jhb East and require travel to the dealerships throughout Africa (mainly Tanzania) about 3 times a year.POSITION INFO:
Skills and experience required:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role is required
• Experience in automotive retail is non negotiable, added advantage if the candidate has experience with motorcycles.
• Strong commercial understanding of automotive business
• Thorough understanding of profit / loss and business

Job description:

• Report to the MD
• Manage dealer network in Africa
• Business development
• Develop client growth strategy
• Manage and develop the relationship with the customer according to the strategy
• Develop the value proposition to match the customersxe2x80x99 needs
• Manage pricing function
• Work closely with local product organization to grow and deliver revenue growth supporting the local product P&L
• Ensure sales plans are in place for aging stock
• Develop training plan
• Ensure marketing and sales plans are aligned
• Develop business plan
• Grow presence across Africa
• Responsible for Customer Satisfaction
• Support the overall customer experience and increasing customer satisfaction
• Assist with planning for budgets and forecasts
