Brand Activation and Product Manager - Cape TownCiovita is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative junior brand strategist/manager with a passion for cycling to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand's communication strategies, focusing on targeted messaging to specific markets and driving successful product launches. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone who is creative, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to the growth of a dynamic cycling apparel brand.Key responsibilities:Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to develop comprehensive brand strategies that resonate with target markets and align with Ciovita's brand identity.Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, consumer preferences and competitor activities in the cycling and active lifestyle industry.Create and implement targeted communication plans for different customer segments, tailoring messaging and content to their preferences and needs.Manage the planning and execution of product launches, ensuring that messaging is consistent, compelling, and aligned with the brand's objectives.Develop creative briefs to guide the design and content creation process, ensuring that all materials align with the brand's messaging and positioning.Develop and manage production shoots align for new campaigns and productsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that brand strategies are integrated into all marketing initiatives, including social media, advertising, events and partnerships.Monitor and analyse brand performance metrics, gather customer feedback, and provide insights to optimise communication strategies.Development of monthly business reportsStay updated on industry trends, cultural shifts, and emerging technologies to propose innovative ideas for brand enhancement and engagement.Assist in the development of marketing materials, presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.KPIs:Effectiveness of targeted communication strategies in engaging and resonating with specific market segments.Successful execution and impact of product launches, measured by sales, customer engagement and brand visibility.Consistency and alignment of brand messaging across various channels and touchpoints.Monitoring and Management of the customer LTV within the different target markets.Contribution to increased customer loyalty and retention rates.Quality and creativity of brand-related materials and content.Timely and accurate reporting on brand performance metrics and insights.Required:Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.Previous experience in brand strategy, marketing, or communications rolesStrong passion for cycling and an understanding of the cycling community and culture.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Creative and innovative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.Analytical skills to interpret market data, customer insights and performance metrics.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
