Job Description

Preweld are an established gas and welding supply distributor with 3 branches . We are seeking a mature, experienced individual who can work independently to run our sales counter and manage our newest branch based in Malmesbury. A minimum of 5 years experience (with a proven track record and references is a must) running a sales counter in an industrial / engineering environment is a must (in a supervisory position).

Sales Activities

Servicing existing customers Respond to new sales enquiries To handle all customer enquiries & orders. To provide excellent customer service. Provide customers with product information and quotations Address customer issues and provide solutions Handle enquiries and follow up on solutions Follow-up daily on quotations and tenders Reach monthly sales targets Supplier liaison and stock orders

Admin Activities

To handle daily administrative functions that supports the sales function. Order processing Document management Reporting

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 (five) years sales experience in a manufacturing environment (NOT from Retail, Insurance, Cellular, banking and/or gyms) Matric qualification Post matric sales Good knowledge of and experience using MS Office Suite and SAGE Pastel advantageous Self-motivation and good communication written and telephonic skills (English). Fluency in Afrikaans would be an added advantage. A passion for customer service, high energy levels and shows initiative Negotiation skills Attention to detail and accuracy Code 8 drivers licence Contactable References
Added advantage to candidates with the following:

Knowledge of / experience in the Gas and welding industry. Debtors and creditors experience.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R15000,00 - R17000,00 per month
