A well-established supplier and distributor of Industrial Flow Measuring Equipment is looking for an experienced Branch Manager for their operation on the East Rand

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the administration and efficient daily operation of the branch:- Operations, Product Sales, Repairs, Customer service and Security/Safety
• Compilation of Annual Budgets
• Making competent commercial decisions in-line with branch budget
• Maintains, prepares and submits required monthly reports
• Control and Management of Branch expenses typically: Travel, Petty cash, Telecoms, Debtors, Stock on hand
• Regulation and control of stock including branches
• Stock management via forecasts and historical data
• Effectively manage Sales/Marketing activities to actively grow market share
• Proactively generate new customers while maintaining existing sales and ensures a high standard of sales organisation and administration
• Develop strategic sales plans, assigns sales territory to Sales Representatives and sets sales targets for Representatives
• Directs sales activities and monitors performance of the Sales Representatives to meet the goals set
• Ensures that all sales and customer service reporting information is provided on a timely basis
• Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition
• Ensure effective resolution of customer complaints
• Efficiently dealing with people management issues, as required
• Identify branch employee training needs as well as identifying and developing branch staff

Requirements

• Grade 12

• Degree or Diploma in Business Management is preferred
• Relevant Mechanical and or Electrical qualification would be highly beneficial
• Minimum of 5 years Branch Management experience
• 3 years Industrial Sales based experience
• Previous experience with Instrumentation, Flow measurement and related is preferred
• Must have Valid Driverxe2x80x99s License and own reliable transport
• Must be computer literate - MS Office and ERP system
• Ability to meet sales targets and production goals
• Must be results driven and customer focused
• Strong communication, analytical, problem solving, and decision making

Skills

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and diplomacy in dealing

with both customers and employees

• Strong supervisory and leadership skills required to manage, motivate,

and develop branch employees

• Ability to write reports, business correspondence and respond to

questions from groups of managers, customers, and the general public

• Ability to handle confidential and or sensitive information in a professional

manner

• Ability to manage multi-functional tasks in a pressurised environment,

prioritize and multitask

• Salary is dependent on qualification, relevant experience and skill set
