Reports to: Chief Operations Officer Supervises: Branch employees Job purpose: To manage and oversee the entire operations at branch level. Duties & responsibilities. :Strategically plan and manage logistics,
Regularly inspect warehouse for goods on floor
Instruct drivers on daily duties
Monitor Proof or Deliveries and Cash on Delivery documentation
Attend to transportation requests and customer services
Direct, optimize and coordinate deliveries
Liaise and negotiate with suppliers and partners
Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
Arrange warehouse, catalogue goods, plan routes and process shipments
Resolve any arising problems or complaints
Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce
Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
Meet all performance standards.
Monitor fuel usage.
