Job Description

1. Must clearly understand and familiarise his/herself with entire Operation and administration of branch 2. Open Branch on time and ensure staff are ready to operate before opening for customers. 3. Ensure branch is properly secured and armed at the end of business daily. 4. Must achieve or exceed all standards/targets set out by senior Management. 5. Must actively monitor and strive to maximise Company sales. 6. Must actively monitor and strive to increase Company profits. 7. Must monitor and strive to minimise expenses and loses. 8. Actively partake and drive in store promotions. 9. Drive and provide oversight on Pamphlet distribution. 10. Monitor and actively drive quotation follow ups to close pending sales. 11. Must monitor and actively stay up to date with competitor pricing. 12. Ensure all product bins are accurately priced and labelled and merchandised accordingly. 13. Monitor price updates daily and ensure shelve edge talkers are updated immediately. 14. Study competitor quotes brought by customers and strive to beat competitor pricing. 15. Assist in Planning and Driving promotions and Specials. 16. Facilitate product knowledge, Customer service and sales training to all subordinate staff. 17. Actively resolve customer queries in a positive manner. 18. Ensure excellent housekeeping standards are maintained at all times. 19. Ensure customer stock is efficiently picked. 20. Check Stock order books daily. 21. Ensure orders are sent to buying and follow up is done on stock delivery. 22. Ensure order pricing is accurate and competitive. 23. Ensure all stock is Received and captured on the System accurately in time. 24. Check receiving books daily to ensure there are no outstanding GRVxe2x80x99s. 25. Ensure Returns to supplier are accurately processed and scheduled for return. Actively follow up on delayed supplier collections. 26. Ensure Direct deliveries are accurately captured and processed. 27. Ensure Cashiers a fully equipped to operate daily. 28. Ensure cashier floats balance daily. Experience:

• Hardware Retail: 3 years (Preferred)
• Retail Management: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• Code B (Preferred)
