Job Summary
BRANCH MANAGER / EAST LONDON - The incumbent will be fully responsible for the General Management of the sales, and distribution operation, including implementing strategic initiatives to expand and grow sales and distribution of the products in East London and surrounding areas. Must have Valid driver's license, and own reliable vehicle
Minimum Requirements
 Tertiary qualification in commerce (Sales and marketing, supply chain, and accounting subjects)
 Min. of 5 years proven experience in successfully handling a sales operation with exposure to all aspects of sales, marketing, customer service, and supply chain. The incumbent must be familiar with the food packaging market
 Ability to drive the operation strategically with a good understanding of finance and budgets
 Manage the region as a profit centre and achieve the divisions financial target
 Capable of managing procurement
 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and high energy levels
 Responsible for IR aspects of the branch
 Strong excel and Syspro skills
 A passion for Customer service
 Experience in the management of Key accounts in the retail and food services markets
 Must be well experience in the food and light packaging market
 Exceptional leadership skills to manage a diverse team
Key performance areas are:
 Managing the entire sales function for the region
 Ensure the region's national key accounts comply with national standards
 Achieving sales targets and increasing the branch's revenue
 Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
 Ensuring smooth and efficient branch operations, including managing staff and resources
 Compliance and Risk Management: Adhering to regulatory requirements and managing risks effectively
 Training and developing branch staff to enhance their skills and performance
 Financial Management: Overseeing the branch's financial activities, including budgeting and cost control. Manage the Branch's debtor's book
 Branch profitability: Ensure the branch targets and budgets are achieved.
 Managing stock for the operation
 Management of the procurement function
 Overall responsible for a distribution fleet and warehousing facility
 Oversee management of two retail stores
Salary - market related depending on experience
