The purpose of this position is to manage a team of legal and administrative staff at a branch level, who are required to assist members (clients) with legal advice and paralegal solutions to common problems, within the parameters as set by the Company and the Scorpion Legal Protection Membership Agreement.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
General Branch Management
Manage staff to ensure that service standards are upheld
Staff Development & Discipline
Performance management, assessment, motivation, and discipline of staff
Reporting and Quality Assurance
Monthly and weekly reporting on activities, quality, and budgeting
Liaison with Attorneys/Claims
Department
Attend to obtaining advice and instructions on legal matters
Liaison with Clients and Employees
Dealing with and minimising complaints/conflict between staff and clients
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND GENERAL WORKING CONDITIONS
Education
Must have Matric (Grade 12); and Equivalent
Must have Legal Degree.
Admitted Attorney and Management Qualification Advantageous
Experience
At least 4 year's relevant working experience.
Completed internal Menu One and Membership Agreement.
Proven Performance Track Record
Must have leadership skills
Ability to provide guidance on resolution of complex Property disputes
Other
Must be computer literate; specifically, proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
