Job Description


Accountable for the profitable management of all divisions of an Equipment branch within the constraints of AFGRI Group strategies and policies

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING

  • Grade 12
  • Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture / Business / Finance / Management will be an advantage
REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE
  • 3 yearsxe2x80x99 relevant experience in an Agricultural / Construction equipment environment
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
  • Provide and maintain sound customer relations with internal and external clients (marketing).
  • Maintain control of critical administrative procedures and processes to ensure compliance with relevant policies and legislative requirements (loss control).
  • Ensure a well-managed inventory system.
  • Manage the branch operations for business optimization according to the department's business plan.
  • Manage the branch finances.
  • Provide leadership and support to all employees to ensure a motivated and competent staff complement.
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/ COMPETENCIES
  • Computer literacy (MS Office)
  • Farming / Construction experience or knowledge of farming & Construction / Mining activities
  • Knowledge of John Deere products will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of other AFGRI product agencies
  • Basic financial skills
  • Verbal and written communication
  • Valid driver's license
