Branch Manager Cape Town
Retail and Wholesale Outdoor Arms.
Are you an experienced retail or operations manager with a passion for firearms? Then this is your opportunity to step into a leadership role with one of South Africas premium outdoor retailers. Patriot is seeking a new Branch Manager (Cape Town) as our current General Manager transitions to a new division within the group.
This role oversees all aspects of the Cape Town branch, including the wholesale arm for select high-end brands. If youre driven by precision, performance, and people and youre ready to take the reins of a fast-moving, proudly South African business wed like to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver a premium customer experience for firearm enthusiasts.
• Manage retail and wholesale procurement, supplier relationships, and stock flow.
• Oversee financial performance: profitability, planning, budgeting, and management accounts.
• Handle full financial function, including monthly reporting and cost analysis.
• Source and negotiate international shipping quotes.
• Maintain procurement systems, stock control, and merchandising standards.
• Lead and motivate the Cape Town team, upholding Patriots culture and values.
• Execute retail strategies that drive sales, service, and operational excellence.
• Conduct operational and financial analysis for continuous improvement.
• Represent Patriot at trade shows and brand events as required.
• Implementing strategies to increase sales goals and customer service, and operating objectives
• Specialist Outdoor Gear and Rifle product knowledge is a must.
• Successful track record in achieving turnover targets.
• Performing other tasks as assigned from time to time.
• Available to travel from time to time and attend trade show events.

Requirements:

• Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English (speak, read, write).
• Minimum five years retail store management experience.
• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Management Accounting (BCom preferred).
• Competency to trade in firearms. Will be advantageous.
• Computer literate (POS experience essential).
• Valid drivers licence and own transport.
• Reside in Cape Town (Northern Suburbs preferred).
