The ideal candidate should have a strong background in road freight and logistics, excellent leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a dedication to providing exceptional service.Key Responsibilities:Operational Management:Manage day-to-day operations for timely, cost-effective service delivery.Optimize resources, including vehicles, personnel, and equipment.Uphold safety protocols for a secure work environment.Team Leadership:Recruit and develop a top-performing logistics team.Cultivate a positive work culture focused on teamwork and accountability.Conduct performance evaluations and offer feedback.Client Relations:Maintain strong client relationships and ensure satisfaction.Explore business expansion opportunities.Address and resolve client concerns effectively.Financial Management:Monitor financial performance to identify improvement areas.Collaborate on billing and invoicing processes.Compliance and Quality Assurance:Adhere to industry regulations and company policies.Implement and maintain quality assurance standards.Conduct audits to enhance operational efficiency.Qualifications and Skills:Grade 12 / Matric Qualification non-negotiable.Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Logistics, or a related field an advantage.Proven experience in road freight and logistics management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.Strong leadership and decision-making skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry best practices.Proficient in Microsoft OfficeRemuneration:R50 00.00 per month total cost to companyBenefits:Medical Aid SubsidyProvident FundDeath and Disability CoverOnly candidates who meet all the requirements stipulated in this advert, will be considered.
