Job Vacancy: Retail Store Manager - High-End Design Home Furniture

Location: Upmarket Mall in the Northern Suburbs, Cape Town

If so, we invite you to apply for the position of Retail Store Manager at our prestigious store located in an upmarket mall in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities:

• Store Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the retail store, ensuring the highest level of customer service, visual merchandising, and inventory management.
• Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of dedicated sales associates, ensuring they provide exceptional customer service and meet sales targets.
• Product Knowledge: Possess a deep understanding of our high-end design home furniture products and help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
• Visual Merchandising: Ensure the store maintains an attractive and inviting appearance through effective visual merchandising and display arrangements.
• Sales and Targets: Set and achieve sales targets while maintaining profit margins and inventory control.
• Customer Satisfaction: Prioritize customer satisfaction and resolve any customer complaints or issues promptly.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, replenishing stock as needed and conducting regular stock takes.

Qualifications:

• Interior Design Diploma (Advantageous): Possession of an interior design diploma is an advantage, as it will enhance your ability to provide expert advice to customers.
• Retail Management Experience (3 Years): Proven experience in retail management, ideally within the furniture industry, is required.
• Matric: A matric certificate or equivalent qualification is essential.
• Passion for Interior Design: An appreciation for high-end design home furniture and a passion for interior design concepts is highly desirable.
• Excellent Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to lead a dynamic team and engage with customers effectively.
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address issues and improve store operations.
• Customer-Focused: A commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
• Computer Literacy: Proficiency in using computer-based retail management systems.
