Main purpose:

The main purpose of this job is to ensure that all aspects of sales, marketing, ordering and deliveries are adhered to in respect of the business branch.

The successful candidate must be able to fulfill the following duties and responsibilities:

• Identifying new Customers and business opportunities.
• Managing Cape Town branch.
• Making recommendations on advertising for Cape Town Market.
• Preparation of formal quotations.
• Working with Financial Manager on Credit Controls.
• Gathering and external distribution of Technical Information.
• Calling on Customers and Main Contractors and all Professionals.
• Presentations to Professionals.
• Liaising with Sales administration, Specifiers and the following up on leads.
• Customer relations and dealing with Customer complaints in association with Sales Director and Production Manager.
• Updating records of Customer Survey.
• Checking on monthly invoicing
• Attending presentations/expos.
• Site Inspections and making cold calls where appropriate.
• Training Sales Staff at Hardware Stores.
• Attending sales meetings.
• Monthly reporting Call Sheets.
• Grow sales market on new products.
• Management of own team.

Education/Professional Qualifications

• Matric
• Certificate in Customer Relations Management or Sales will be added advantage.

Work Experience & Skills requirement

• 5 years experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of all insulation products.
• Knowledge of the Building Industry and Regulations.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
