Branch Administrator (RETAIL GARDEN CENTRE) Multi Award Winning Nursery-Stodels is looking for a dynamic Branch Administrator to head up the Admin department at the Bryanston Garden Centre. The position will report directly to the Branch Manager. The Ideal candidate will be someone who is focused on customer experience, behave with integrity, believe in continuous learning and helping each other grow & develop. Main duties:

  • Staff scheduling xe2x80x93 To manage the scheduling of staff and to submit a monthly staff roster to the Branch Manager for approval.
  • Negative Stock xe2x80x93 To be assessed, investigated and submitted to Accounts/Admin weekly for necessary approval on stock adjustments done at branch level.
  • Mark Up xe2x80x93 To track the various departments mark up daily by assessing the relevant reports and necessitating changes based on derived information.
  • Specials Report xe2x80x93 Being responsible for checking that all specials have been implemented correctly on the sales floor, that all boards have been processed and handed to the relevant Department Manager, and that old or outdated specials have been removed.
  • Responsible for all new staffxe2x80x99s paperwork to be submitted to HR timeously.
  • Manage the branches delivery schedule (all stock and documents)
  • To be responsible for all cashing up paperwork and banking
  • Prepare Monthly casual wages.
  • Tracking all branch expenses and managing the branchxe2x80x99s petty cash
  • Responsible for security and goods receiving.
Requirements:
  • 3 years experience in Retail Management
  • Relevant Retail Admin experience is essential.
  • Computer literate (Excel, Word, SAP - advantageous)
  • Proven leadership abilities and management of staff
  • Understanding of Payroll and Accounting processes
  • Must be organised, efficient and assertive.
  • Excellent communication skills on all levels
  • Own transport is required.
