We are looking for 3x experienced Branch Admin Controllers
1 - Based in Durban with regular travel to Richards bay
2 - Based in Gauteng (East Rand) with regular travel to Rustenburg
3 - Based in Secunda with regular travel to Witbank
At lease 2 years experience in a similar position
You will be reporting to the Branch Managers and the CFO
JOB PURPOSE
The Branch Admin Controller is responsible for overseeing and coordinating various administrative functions within a branch. Their role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of daily administrative tasks.
Ensure that the office operates efficiently by implementing and maintaining effective systems and procedures.
You may be involved in budgeting and financial planning.
Monitor expenses and ensure compliance with financial policies.
Oversee the maintenance of records and documents, both physical and electronic. This includes establishing filing systems, ensuring data security and confidentiality, and complying with record retention policies.
Communication and Coordination: Serve as a liaison between different departments and individuals within the organization.
Facilitate communication,
Assist in developing administrative policies and procedures to promote efficiency, productivity, and compliance.
Ensure that policies are communicated to staff and implemented effectively.
Responsible for managing and coordinating special projects or initiatives within the administrative department.
Identify training needs within the administrative team
Resolve administrative issues and address conflicts or challenges that arise within the department.
Analyze problems, propose solutions, and implement appropriate measures to prevent recurrence.
The fundamental role remains focused on overseeing and optimizing administrative functions to support the overall operations of the organization.
Ensure accurate record-keeping of financial transactions and internal controls within the branch.
Compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
Coordinate and support internal and external audits, working closely with the finance department to provide required documentation and resolve any identified issues or discrepancies.
Your knowledge and experience will be tested in:
Credit apps / Credit Notes / Deposit and card payments / Refund requests / Correct GRV procedure / Ensure all invoices are signed and approved / Creditor queries / Petty Cash Claims / Apply Health and Safety Standards and Regulations / Any other job related tasks as required from your Branch Manager, or Financial Manager
Attitude and loyalty toward the business is of utmost importance
Valid drivers licence
Own reliable transport
Market related salary of R25,000 - R30,000 (Negotiable based on experience) with travel reimbursement.
