POSITION: Bottle Screen Printing Machine Operator
AREA: Bloubergsands, Cape Town
Location: Cape Town
Type: Temporary to Permanent 3 months
Start Date: ASAP - Starting date initially 1 July 2025
Hourly Rate or Salary: R80.00 per hour
Brief :
The Screen-Printing Machine Operator is responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of the Bottle Screen Printing Machine to produce high-quality prints on a variety of substrates, including plastic, glass, and metal containers used in personal care and beauty products.
This role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to production targets and quality standards.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00
Employment Type: Temporary to Permanent
Travel - Own Vehicle: Advantageous
Minimum Requirements:

• Education: Matric

• Experience:
• Experienced with screen printing onto bottles. This is the most important absolute requirement.
• Absolute minimum of 12 months screen printing onto bottles hands-on, not just assisting someone else doing it.
• NOTE: This is different to other types of screen printing and experience in other types of screen printing is NOT relevant.

Experienced in Bottle Printing including:

• Setting bottle screen printing machine.
• Setting screens for the bottle printing.
• Running the machine to produce printed bottles.
• Experienced in the cleaning and day to maintenance of a Bottle Printing machine

• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines
• Effective communication
• Ability to follow precise instructions
• Excellent hand-eye coordination
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Capacity to lift items up to 25 kg
• Manual dexterity for handling small components
• Excellent eyesight
• Not Colour Blind
