A well-established Electrical company is looking for a qualified and experienced individual to join their finance team! Requirements:
Grade 12
Relevant Accounting/Bookkeeping qualification is a must
3-5yrs bookkeeping experience in a similar environment is required
Valid Driver's License and Own Car
MS Office & Pastel Literate
Responsibilities:
Monthly and Year End reporting
Monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements, including posting of journals Monitor and analyse credit card expenses Prepare and co-ordinate Year End Financial Statements with all supporting documentation Ensuring statutory requirements are complied with (including stock take) assist with preparation and co-ordination of the audit process
Reconciliation's
Analyse and reconcile bank statements and resolve any queries Analyse accounts with the intention of maintaining accurate account balance monthly
Ad-hoc duties
Bookkeeping to trial balance Invoicing Full Debtors / Creditors function VAT PAYE Banking and petty cash Loading of payments as required Maintain and record fixed assets register Payroll administration Team Player Attention to detail Good communication skills Ability to work under pressure
