Our client is seeking a Bookkeeper to join their team in Meyerton. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual who is eager to grow their career in finance while gaining experience in a busy and dynamic environment.
Key Duties & Responsibilities

Capture daily financial transactions on Xero (invoices, receipts, payments).
Perform bank reconciliations and assist with month-end processing.
Assist with wages and payroll processing on Zoho, including payslips, overtime, and leave records.
Prepare and send client invoices; follow up on outstanding payments under supervision.
Capture supplier invoices and assist with payment processing.
Maintain accurate filing and financial records.
Prepare simple Excel reports and spreadsheets (expenses, petty cash, supplier lists).
Assist with recording project-related costs (fuel, consumables, site expenses).
Provide admin support to the finance team and assist with client/supplier queries.
Run errands such as bank visits and supplier drop-offs when required.

Requirements

Minimum of 1-2 years bookkeeping/finance experience (entry-level acceptable).
Must be proficient in Xero, Zoho, and Microsoft Excel (non-negotiable).
Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
Must have own reliable transport and a valid driver's license.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and willingness to learn.

Remuneration Package:
R 12K - 14K
