Global Tax Recovery, a leading international tax reclaim firm, is looking for a
highly detail-oriented and motivated Bookkeeper
to join our dynamic finance team in Johannesburg.About the Role:
As a Bookkeeper at Global Tax Recovery, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing reconciliations, and supporting our finance and operations teams with day-to-day accounting functions. This is an exciting opportunity to grow within a fast-paced and globally connected environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process Reconcile bank accounts and ensure accuracy in ledgers Process invoices, payments, and payroll entries Maintain internal financial controls and reporting systems Prepare basic financial reports and support audits as required Work closely with finance and operations teams to ensure data integrity
Requirements:
Minimum of
2 years' experience
in a bookkeeping or accounting role Adegree or diploma
in Accounting or related fieldProficient in Microsoft Excel
(intermediate to advanced level) Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy Excellent organisational and time management skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Must reside inJohannesburg
and beavailable to start during July 2025
