Abelanani is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to join our team in Bedford Gardens, Johannesburg. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and preparing financial reports. You will work closely with the Directors and other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, including

Record and reconcile financial transactions accurately and efficiently.

Process invoices, payments, and other financial documents.

Maintaining general ledgers

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Prepare and reconcile bank statements.

Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.

Prepare financial reports and statements.

Identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors in financial records.

Maintain strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.

Qualifications:

Relevant bookkeeping experience.

Strong understanding of accounting principles.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Accounting degree or equivalent required.

Must be able to work on Outlook, Whatsapp, Word and Excel

Ability to work on Microsoft Nav and CRM or similar program will be advantageous
