Bookkeeper (Centurion Onsite) Finance/Admin
Pretoria/Centurion - Gauteng - South Africa
ENVIRONMENT:
WE are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper with at least 5 years of end-to-end Bookkeeping experience, including managing multiple sets of books. This position is responsible for the full Bookkeeping function for 8 -10 fast food outlets, ensuring accuracy in financial records, VAT compliance, and preparation of audit files post year-end. This is a high-volume, fast-paced role that requires multitasking and precision.
DUTIES:

• Full Bookkeeping function for about 8 10 stores.
• Capture invoices and process payments for suppliers.
• Invoicing and capturing of Debtor payments.
• Reconcile and process the cashbooks.
• Capture and process the daily expenses (cash, credit cards, Mr D, Uber and online).
• Post journals.
• Reconcile control accounts.
• Process and submit the VAT accurately.
• Print out the VAT 201 report and load payments on eFiling.
• Receive, print and capture all food cost invoices, ensuring it balances to the main statement.
• Load payments on the bank.
• Perform any other reasonable duty as required by management.
• Filing and binding.
• Prepare audit files after year end.
• Admin relating to opening a store as well as store admin.

REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications

• Diploma in Bookkeeping or similar tertiary qualification.

Experience/Skills

• At least 5 years Bookkeeping to Trial Balance experience essential.
• Any Pastel experience necessary, preferably Evolution.
• Full Bookkeeping function from starting company up to Balance Sheet.
• VAT and eFiling experience essential.
• Working with tight deadlines.
• Attention to detail.
