Job Description


Looking for a role where your financial skills can make a real impact across borders? My client, based in the Northern Suburbs, is growing fast and they are looking for a proactive, detail-orientated Bookkeeper to support their UK hotel operations from their Cape Town office.
What you'll be doing:

  • Capturing and reconciling financial data across group entities
  • Preparing payment runs and assisting with monthly management accounts
  • Maintaining the asset register and processing payrolls
  • Handling UK PAYE submissions and liaising with HMRC
  • Reconciling inter-company loans and VAT returns
  • Supporting accurate, on-time reporting with solid attention to detail
What they're looking for:
  • Ideally a tertiary qualification in Accounting (or solid experience)
  • At least 3 years' bookkeeping/accounting experience
  • Intermediate Excel skills and strong attention to detail
  • Self-starter with excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Experience with Xero and/or hospitality industry exposure (bonus!)
  • Comfortable working with UK systems, deadlines, and teams
