We're looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have solid bookkeeping experience across multiple companies, excellent organisational skills, and a thorough understanding of VAT, Xero, and Excel.
You'll play an integral role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the finance team to ensure smooth month-end procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain the general ledger and process all financial transactions accurately on Xero
Process supplier invoices, perform payment runs, and reconcile accounts payable
Raise customer invoices, manage receivables, and follow up on outstanding balances
Oversee and review debtors and creditors ledgers, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Reconcile intercompany loan accounts
Prepare and post standard and payroll journals
Perform daily bank reconciliations
Review trial balances for correct allocations
Ensure all monthly deadlines are met for month-end cut-off
Prepare management reports as required
Perform general office and ad hoc administrative duties
Requirements:
Certification in Bookkeeping (or equivalent qualification)
Minimum of 2 years' bookkeeping experience (preferably managing multiple companies)
Strong understanding of VAT
Proficiency in Xero and Microsoft Excel
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
