We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Bookkeeper / All-Rounder Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in bookkeeping and general administrative support, with a strong ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Full bookkeeping function up to trial balance.
Preparation and submission of all statutory returns including VAT, PAYE, UIF, and EMP submissions.
Managing and reconciling accounts, bank statements, and supplier payments.
Maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with audits when required.
Tender sourcing and preparation of tender submissions.
General office administration and support to management as needed.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and statutory compliance.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Pastel, Sage, or Xero) and MS Office Suite.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Proven experience in tender administration and submissions.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
