A well-established Bus Services Company is seeking a highly motivated and organized Booking Clerk to join our team. In this fast-paced and dynamic role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of our daily booking activities.
Booking Clerk Responsibilities & Duties
Enter and update customer information in the booking system
Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries in a professional manner
Process and confirm bookings, making necessary changes and updates
Monitor and manage the booking schedule to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Prepare and generate reports on booking activity and performance
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the booking system database
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including confidentiality and security protocols
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Booking Clerk Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience in a similar role
Proficiency in booking or scheduling software
Strong customer service background
Ability to multitask and prioritize workload efficiently
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with industry-specific booking systems
Problem-solving skills and attentiveness to detail
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
High school diploma or equivalent
3+ years of experience in a booking, customer service, or administrative role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiple projects, and meet deadlines
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel and Word
Familiarity with booking systems and databases a plus
