If you are an organised and capable bookkeeper with hands-on Xero experience, and you are looking to start small but grow with ambitious businesses, this opportunity could be ideal. We operate a small group of UK recruitment and marketing companies supported by a remote South African team, and we are now looking for a dependable bookkeeper to keep our financial world running smoothly.
You will begin with a light workload of around one hour per day, but we expect meaningful growth over time. As our companies expand, you will have the opportunity to take on more responsibility, handle additional entities, and ultimately play a larger part in how the group operates.
What you will do

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for multiple UK businesses Record transactions, upload receipts, reconcile bank feeds in Xero Prepare and maintain invoices, statements and payment records Support month-end processes and handovers to external accountants Stay on top of VAT and financial compliance requirements Maintain organised, accurate financial records across all entities Identify and streamline inefficient processes as the role matures What you will bring Practical experience using Xero (non-negotiable) A bookkeeping qualification such as ICB, SAIPA, AAT or similar Strong attention to detail, accuracy and consistency Clear and professional communication Ability to manage your time independently Advantageous: experience working with UK-based companies or clients

To begin, pay will be pro-rata based on hours worked, anticipated at around 20 hours per month (approximately one hour per day). As your hours and responsibilities increase, your earnings rise accordingly.
