Job Summary

Hire Resolve's client is seeking 5 experienced boilermakers for a project in the mining industry based in Kuruman, Northern Cape.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and install boilers, pipelines, and other containers according to company standards and specifications
• Ensure all safety procedures are followed while working on site
• Maintain and repair boilers using proper tools and techniques
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine what materials are needed
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure maximum productivity
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with boilers in order to identify the root cause of problems

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a boilermaker on mining projects
• Valid trade certificate in boilermaking
• Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques and welding
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and diagrams
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues independently
• Strong communication skills in order to work collaboratively with internal teams
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in the mining industry
