Boilermaker - QueenstownBoilermakerAre you a dynamic and experienced Boilermaker seeking a new and exciting challenge? We are currently recruiting for our client specialising in the production of aggregates for constructions, based in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. The successful candidate will be responsible for metal fabrication, welding, cutting, and other relevant techniques, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.Minimum RequirementsBoilermaker with 5 years of experience in mining or heavy industry.Proficient in challenging tasks in diverse spaces and elevated heights.Adept at troubleshooting and efficiently resolving technical issues.Flexible availability for working shifts, overtime, and in remote locations as necessitated.Roles and ResponsibilitiesStrong commitment to safety in mining or industrial environments, ensuring a safe work setting.Proficient in physically demanding tasks, adept at working in varied environments, including confined spaces and at heights.Efficient troubleshooter with technical problem-solving skills.Metal Fabrication: Fabricate, assemble, and install metal structures and equipment using welding, cutting, and shaping techniques.Maintenance and Repair: Conduct maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of mining equipment to ensure optimal functionality.Blueprint Interpretation: Analyse technical drawings for material requirements and precise specifications in fabrication and installation.Welding and Joining: Perform various welding methods to ensure structural integrity of metal components.Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols, procedures, and regulations to maintain a secure work environment.Equipment Inspection: Conduct inspections for defects, wear, and damage, implementing corrective measures to prevent breakdowns.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work, materials, and modifications for reporting and reference.Team Collaboration: Collaborate with maintenance teams, engineers, and supervisors to efficiently execute tasks and achieve operational goals.Closing DateSubmissions for this vacancy will close on 30 January 2024, however, you will still have the opportunity to submit your CV for this position till 16 February 2024.Please NoteThank you for submitting your CV to Marvel Placement Consultants.
