Job Description
Boilermaker - North WestRESPONSIBILITIESHealth and safetyEnsure to wear correct PPE at all times.Attend pre-shift meetings.Report unsafe conditions and xe2x80x93behaviour.Adhere to FA and client policies and procedures.Always behave safe.Maintenance and fabricationImplement maintenance schedules.Maintainsrepairs all mechanical equipment.Conduct plant inspection on all key mechanical equipment.Identifies and prioritise equipment in need of maintenance/repairs.Plans down time for repairs/maintenance.Plans for material and men to assist.Do risk assessment/study procedures.Do repairs/maintenance.Fabricate general steelwork.QUALIFICATIONSGrade 12/N3 - Mechanical engineering subjectsTrade test-Boilermaker - MQA/MERSETA preferredEXPERIENCE5 years minimum post trade test experience as Boilermaker (Section 13 Artisan)2 year Learnership/Apprentice in Mining or ConstructionSKILLS, QUALITIES AND ABILITIESVerbal communicationUnderstand what constitutes unsafe conditions and xe2x80x93behaviourAdvanced understanding of planned maintenance documentation and proceduresAdvanced planning skillsRisk assessment skillsBoilermaker Foreman skillsValid Drivers license
