Responsibilities for the Position, amongst others:xc3x82

• Will be falling under the Maintenance Departmentxc3x82
• Reporting directly to the Shift Leaderxc3x82
• Required to work during Plant Shutdowns to carry out Plant Maintenancexc3x82
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain 5S Housekeepingxc3x82
• Must be able to work without supervisionxc3x82
• Must be able to work Fast and Accuratelyxc3x82
• Working closely with other departments to resolve Manufacturing Challengesxc3x82
• Required to attend Departmental Meetingsxc3x82
• Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving activities providing ideas and suggestions.xc3x82
• Required to work overtime when necessaryxc3x82
• Must have strong mechanical aptitudexc3x82
• Must have knowledge and experience working with hand and power toolsxc3x82
• Must be able to read and interpret technical and assembly drawingsxc3x82
• Must be willing and able to work under pressure and according to deadlinesxc3x82
• Knowledge pertaining to lock out and isolation procedures
• Good communication skills with the ability to read and write in English
• Practical and problem-solving skillsxc3x82
• Must be proficient in reading structural and plating drawingsxc3x82
• Vast experience with fabricating and erecting steel structures according to drawing plansxc3x82
• Experience required in refurbishing steel structures according to standardsxc3x82
• Good knowledge of the various types of steels and their properties in usexc3x82
• Must be able to fabricate, assemble, install, test, maintain and repair boilers, pressure vessels, tanks, towers, heatxc3x82 exchangers and other heavy-metal structuresxc3x82
• Must have experience with Gas and Plasma Cuttingxc3x82
• Must be proficient with Mig, Tig, Arc and Gas Welding
