Boiler Operator - East LondonWe are seeking a Boiler Operator for a food manufacturing concern, for a permanent role based in East London, Eastern Cape.Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:Grade 12 with technical training or certification xe2x80x93 Boiler operator training certification2+ years relevant work experience in boiler certification and maintenance xe2x80x93 manufacturing environment idealUnderstanding of boiler systems, safety protocols and environmental regulationsStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsThe successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:Start up and shut down boiler systemsMonitor and control the operation of boilers, adjusting valves and controls to maintain proper steam pressure, water level, and fuel combustionConduct regular inspections of boilers, piping, valves, and other related equipment to identify and address potential issuesPerform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts, as necessaryConduct safety tests and inspections, such as pressure tests, to ensure equipment integrityDiagnose and troubleshoot operational problems with boilers and associated systemsEnsure compliance with environmental regulations related to emissions and waste disposalReport equipment malfunctions, maintenance needs, and safety concerns promptlyMaintain accurate records of fuel consumption, water treatment, and other relevant dataCompile reports as required by regulatory agenciesSalary: Market related based on experiencePlease email detailed CV and supporting documentation through to bronwyn@sheldon.co.za with xe2x80x9cBoiler Operatorxe2x80x9d in the subject lineIf you have not received a response within 7 working days, please consider your application unsuccessfulFor more information please contact:Bronwyn Van Der Vyver
