Job Advert Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting boiler operators at the Rendering Plant. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to reporting mechanical and electrical breakdowns, monitoring boiler efficiency, and ensure good housekeeping.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 1-2 years relevant experience. HACCP knowledge. Excellent communication skills. Excellent timekeeping skills. Be able to work under pressure. Working overtime when required.
Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain good housekeeping. Align and balance new equipment after installation. Assemble, install and/or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems and machinery, and equipment. Responsible to assist boilers operator at Rendering plant. Report mechanical and electrical breakdowns. Minimize down time. Drive HACCP together with HOD. Daily/weekly inspections. Daily feedback to operator. Ensure correct wearing of PPE. Monitor boiler efficiency. Monitor and save chemicals. Stand in for boiler operator as needed. * Responsible for safety at the boilers and around Rendering plant.
