Cattle Baron Constantia is seeking an experienced and motivated Kitchen Manager to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our kitchen.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and high-quality service
Cut and prepare meat, dishes and other ingredients
Monitor and manage stock levels, including counting inventory and placing orders
Lead and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to company policies and standards
Conduct regular staff performance evaluations and provide training as necessary
Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and restaurant areas
REQUIREMENTS
Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role in a fast-paced restaurant
Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment, food safety and sanitation regulations
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong references from previous employers
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Sober, clean and hardworking, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism
Strong teamwork and communication skills
