Position Overview:

The Folding and Gluing Specialist is responsible for operating and maintaining folding and gluing machines to ensure the accurate assembly of printed materials. This role involves precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality, finished printing products.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate folding and gluing machines to assemble and finish printed materials. Set up machines according to job specifications, ensuring proper adjustments for size, fold type, and glue application. Perform quality checks throughout the production process to ensure materials meet design and quality standards. Monitor machines for proper operation and troubleshoot minor issues to avoid production delays. Load and unload materials into machines and organize finished products for delivery or further processing. Conduct routine maintenance on folding and gluing equipment, including cleaning and minor repairs. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and prioritize tasks.

Qualifications and Skills:

Experience operating folding and gluing machines in a bindery or production environment is highly preferred. Familiarity with paper stocks, folding types, and glue application techniques. Strong attention to detail and quality control. Mechanical aptitude for machine setup and troubleshooting. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and handling materials. Team-oriented with good communication skills.

Work Environment:

Fast-paced production facility with the need to meet tight deadlines. Regular handling of heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
