BIM Technician (Junior)
We are looking for a motivated BIM Technician to support our BIM department through helpdesk assistance, modelling tasks, and the application of established BIM workflows. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone eager to develop their technical skills, gain exposure to studio systems, and grow within a structured BIM environment.
This role focuses on learning BIM standards, supporting content development, and assisting with collaboration setup, all under guidance and supervision.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Helpdesk & Task Execution
Assist with helpdesk triage and logging of support tickets
Resolve routine BIM-related issues as instructed
Support the maintenance and upkeep of the support ticket log
Standards & Documentation
Adhere to and stay up to date with Office BIM Standards and Procedures
Assist with monitoring content usage
Support the updating of SOPs and basic documentation
Assist with marketing and media-related BIM requests
Content Support
Support the creation and editing of basic Revit families
Assist with component setup, following templates and naming conventions
Provide relevant reports to Principals to inform strategic decision-making
Assist with testing simple Dynamo scripts
Training & Learning
Complete assigned BIM-LMS learning content
Attend team training sessions, actively asking questions and developing skills
Assist with compiling training material summaries
REQUIREMENTS
Certificate or diploma in Architecture, Drafting, or a related discipline
0-2 years' experience, with exposure to Revit and/or ACC
Exposure to Revit, Dynamo, or CGI tools (e.g. Twinmotion or Lumion) is advantageous
Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
A genuine interest in BIM standards, scripting, or visualisation workflows
Curiosity about ACC or cloud-based model sharing systems
Essential Skills & Attributes

Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks accurately
Clear and confident communication, including asking questions and receiving feedback
Responsible time management and good documentation habits
