As the Billing Supervisor, you will lead the charge in ensuring all patient accounts are accurate, compliant, and finalized on time. You won't just be "processing accounts" - you will be a revenue protector, identifying missing charges, navigating complex medical scheme rules, and ensuring clinical excellence is matched by financial accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:

• Full-Cycle Billing: Manage everything from theatre and ward billing to stock and consumables.
• Compliance: Apply ICD-10 coding and medical scheme tariffs with 100% accuracy.
• Claims Management: Investigate rejections and short-payments to ensure the hospital is reimbursed fairly.
• Collaboration: Partner with clinical teams to align medical documentation with billed items.

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience: 3-5 years in private healthcare or hospital billing (this is non-negotiable).
• Technical Knowledge: Deep expertise in medical scheme rules, tariffs, and ICD-10 coding.
• Systems: Proficiency in hospital systems like TriMed, SAP, or similar.
• Education: Grade 12 required; a Diploma in Healthcare Admin or Finance is highly advantageous.
