Job Purpose

To deliver impactful business intelligence analysis by providing both strategic and operational data support. The role involves designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining efficient, secure database systems, while ensuring data integrity and availability to stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

Ensure data compliance by structuring data in accordance with metadata governance procedures and documentation standards. Manage and publish final transformed data content to meet defined standards. Assist in populating data marts and metadata repositories, adhering to standardized systems, processes, and procedures. Provide consulting and data services to business units, delivering relevant and accurate information. Prioritize and execute tasks to meet customer expectations and project timelines. Maintain compliance with internal standards, policies, and governance frameworks. Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process innovations. Monitor and mitigate risk through adherence to governance and escalation of incidents via appropriate channels. Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations by reading publications and attending relevant events. Promote the company's vision and values through team collaboration and stakeholder engagement. Drive personal and professional growth through ongoing learning, certification, and performance improvement. Share knowledge with team members to ensure consistency and alignment in data practices. Support corporate social responsibility and transformation initiatives that align with company goals. Recommend and help implement enhancements to systems, processes, and policies.

Qualifications and Experience

8+ years

total relevant experience, including:

3-5 years

in data management or business intelligence role

6+ years

working with SQL Server and SSIS Advanced

T-SQL

and

SQL Server Management Studio

Strong experience with

SSIS

(ETL development and job scheduling) Proficient in

Power BI

(including dashboarding and tabular model creation) Strong analytical skills for

root cause analysis

and

data quality assessment

Minimum Qualification

: Diploma (NQF Level 6 or equivalent) *

Preferred Qualification

: Degree in Information Technology, Business Management, Mathematics, or Statistics
