Beamline Technologist
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support technical services; implement and assemble systems; troubleshoot non-routine technical problems.
Design, commission, and contribute to subsystem projects; participate in feasibility studies.
Coach and train team members; develop technical skills of individuals.
Ensure compliance with SHEQ standards and integrate activities into company processes.
Execute tasks cost-effectively within project budgets.
Administer and modernize Radiological Information Systems (RIS), network infrastructure, servers, and image processing software.
Safeguard facility instruments, systems, and data; train users in their operation.
Produce technical reports, implement IT standards, and support scientific instrumentation automation and programming.
Requirements:
BTech/BSc in Electronics or Instrumentation (MTech/MSc advantageous)
Minimum 4 years' experience in programming, electronics, or instrumentation
Strong knowledge of database administration, instrumentation & control (I&C), HMI systems, and industrial/scientific instrumentation
Experience in software development (Python, C, C++), IT system troubleshooting, and scientific data management
Knowledge of OHSACT, ISO 9001, and financial/project management basics
