Job Summary
A well-established accounting and advisory firm is seeking a B-BBEE Compliance Analyst to support clients with B-BBEE strategy, verification readiness, and compliance. This role is ideal for a detail-driven professional with strong legislative knowledge and a background in compliance or consulting.
You will work closely with clients across various industries to provide insight, analysis, and recommendations that enhance their BEE status and meet transformation objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyse and interpret B-BBEE legislation and applicable sector codes
Prepare and evaluate BEE scorecards for clients
Conduct BEE audits and readiness assessments
Assist clients in developing transformation strategies and action plans
Liaise with verification agencies and guide clients through verification processes
Collect, verify, and analyse supporting documentation for all scorecard elements
Compile detailed reports and present findings to clients and internal teams
Keep abreast of changes in BEE codes and relevant compliance updates
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, BCom, or related field
2-4 years' experience in B-BBEE consulting, verification, or compliance
In-depth understanding of B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice
Advanced MS Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
Strong communication, client-facing, and report writing skills
Ability to interpret financial and HR data in the context of BEE scoring
Preferred Advantage:
Previous experience in an accounting or audit environment
Familiarity with transformation strategies and sector charters
Professional certification or short course in B-BBEE (advantageous)
