Job Description
We are looking for a
Field-Based Battery Technician
with strong electrical knowledge to join our mobile service team. This role ispredominantly on the road
, attending client sites to diagnose, service, repair, and maintain battery systems and related electrical equipment.The ideal candidate is hands-on, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
Attend client sites for
battery servicing, diagnostics, and breakdowns
Installation and replacement of battery systems (lithium and lead-acid) Electrical fault-finding on batteries, chargers, and connected equipment Testing, commissioning, and performance checks Provide on-site technical support and solutions Complete service reports, job cards, and feedback after each call-out Maintain a professional presence at customer premises Adhere to safety procedures and company standards at all timesEssential Requirements:
Strong electrical knowledge
(fault-finding, wiring, testing)Practical knowledge of batteries
(industrial, lithium, or lead-acid)Valid driver's license
Own reliable vehicle.
Willingness and ability to workprimarily on the road
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Good time management and problem-solving skillsAdvantageous (Not Essential):
Trade qualification or electrical certification Experience with forklifts, industrial equipment, solar, or energy storage Experience in field service or breakdown environments
