What You'll Do
Select, size, and evaluate battery technologies including Li-ion, flow, and hybrid systems
Design integration with renewable generation and grid-connected applications
Develop charge and discharge control logic for system optimisation
Engineer thermal management, fire suppression, and safety protocols
Conduct performance testing and develop system acceptance criteria
What You Bring
BEng or BSc in Electrical Engineering (Pr Eng advantageous)
5-9 years' experience in battery systems, power systems, or related fields
Strong understanding of BESS technologies, control logic, and system behaviour
Experience with grid integration, renewable interfacing, or utility-scale applications
Ability to solve technical problems with practical, implementable solutions

Delivery of robust, compliant, and efficient BESS designs
Effective integration of systems into broader power and renewable environments
Strong collaboration across engineering, operations, and project teams
