Batch Release Pharmacist Assitant

Job Description
We are looking for a hands-on Batch Release Pharmacist
Assistant who will ensure that the required quality levels are in
line with the GMP standards and are consistently achieved and
maintained. The role involves executing both administrative
and technical tasks with efficiency.
What you will do:
- Ensure timeous and correct release of bulk and packaged stock.
- Review batch documentation under supervision.
- Perform Acceptable Quality level (AQL) checks.
- Assist QA Assistant/QA Manager with the investigation of customer complaints.
- Ensure that the GMP standards are met in the factory and liaise with QA Manager on any abnormalities or problems found.
- Assist in the review and update of SOP'S.
- Maintain retention rooms and batch record files.
- Draw relevant batch documents and retention samples as requested by Batch Release Supervisor/QA Manager.

What we are looking for:
- Grade 12 Certificate.
- Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Quality Assurance, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Sound knowledge of GMP requirements.
