Job Description
Our client in the Hospitality industry is currently looking for Bartenders in Sea Point, Cape Town.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons.
- Interact with customers, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks.
- Assess customersxe2x80x99 needs and preferences, making recommendations accordingly.
- Mix ingredients skilfully to prepare both classic and innovative cocktails.
- Plan and present an appealing bar menu.
- Check customersxe2x80x99 identification and confirm legal drinking age compliance.
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies as needed.
- Maintain a guest-focused approach, ensuring an excellent overall experience.
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
- Resume and proven working experience as a Bartender.
- Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
- Computer literacy, proficiency in Micros system.
- Knowledge of a second language is a plus.
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean.
- Possession of a relevant training Certificate.
- Understanding of serving snacks and accompaniments with drinks.
- Daily stock-taking skills.
- Excel in preparing diverse beverages.
- Up to R9 500 per month.
