Position Overview:
The Barman / Barista is responsible for preparing high-quality coffee and cocktails, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean, organised bar and coffee station.
Key Responsibilities:
Beverage Preparation:
Craft coffee drinks (e.g., espressos, lattes) and mix alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages.Customer Service:
Greet guests, offer recommendations, and ensure a welcoming experience.Workspace Management:
Keep the bar and coffee area clean and stocked; maintain equipment.Teamwork:
Collaborate with staff and assist in training as needed.Skills and Qualifications:
Experience as a barista and/or bartender. Knowledge of coffee brewing, latte art, and cocktails. Excellent customer service and multitasking skills.
Work Environment:
Fast-paced, with standing for extended periods and shifts during evenings, weekends, or holidays.
Compensation:
Minimum wage as well as a percentage of the waiter's tips.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: R28,79 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
Work Location: In person
