Barista/kitchen Assistant
Job Description
We are looking for a hard-working motivated individual who can work in high pressure situations to work as a barista and assist as a kitchen assistant in a take-away shop. We will provide the required training for the position, however a plan to work in the hospitality industry will be advantageous.
We are therefore looking for an individual who is seeking valuable experience in the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
Barista duties
Making smoothies
Making juices
Prepping ingredients
Cooking
Packaging orders
Cleaning
Working with the Point of Sale
Serving Customers
Stock Take
Requirements
Fluent in English (Both speaking and understanding)
People-skills
Matric
Barista experience
Previous kitchen experience advantageous
Shifts works as follows:
Shift 1:
Mon to Thu: 06h00 to 13h00
Fri: 06h00 to 12h30
Every second Sat, and Public Holiday: 08h00 to 17h00
Every second Sun: 08h00 to 15h00
Shift 2:
Mon to Thu: 13h00 to 20h00
Fri: 12h30 to 19h00
Every second Sat, and Public Holiday: 08h00 to 17h00
Every second Sun: 08h00 to 15h00

Pay: R28,79 per hour
