Barista - Fixed Term seasonal contract - 1st December 2025 to 30th April 2026

Job Summary:

We are looking for a charismatic guest orientated Barista with great attention to detail, to prepare hot drinks organise coffee bar services in accordance with RCH standards.

Organisational Positioning:

Department: Azure

Reporting to: Azure Restaraunt Manager

Location: The Twelve Apostles Hotel Premises

Minimum Experience or Qualification:

Grade 12 Certificate

Must have at least 2 years barrister experience in an upmarket coffee shop, bar or restaurant

Exposure to a Point of Sales System (Micros - advantageous)

Good command of the English Language with solid knowledge of hospitality vocabulary

Highly presentable

Able to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays

Key Performance Objectives:

To prepare hot beverages in accordance with recipes and RCH timeframes whilst ensuring minimal wastage

To maximise revenue generating opportunities, whilst enhancing the guest service experience, through upselling, in accordance with outlet service journey

Ensuring that mise en place is done in accordance with outlet standard

Service guests in accordance with outlet service journey and company service culture

Handle operating equipment in accordance with company standards ensuring minimal breakages

Ensure that all revenue is accounted for by practicing the "swipe before you serve" principle for all transactions
